Part of the special series LOOSELY HAMLET

Johnny Hamilton (Andrea Giordana) returns home after years of civil war and finds a world that has shifted in his absence. His father’s death is officially ruled a suicide, but the circumstances feel too smooth, too quickly settled, too convenient for those now in power. Johnny senses that the truth is rotting beneath the surface and begins to expose the cracks in the official narrative. The more he investigates, the clearer it becomes that his uncle has not only taken over the ranch, but also the power structure of the entire region.

As Johnny is drawn deeper into the web of intrigue, the once-familiar landscape turns into a labyrinth of betrayal, violence, and moral decay. The people he once knew have become accomplices—some out of fear, others out of greed. The Western setting intensifies the protagonist’s isolation: a man trying to make sense of the past while the present pushes him, step by step, further into tragedy.
