Jeanne Dielman

The film shows three days in the life of Jeanne Dielman, a young Belgian widow who lives in a small flat with her sixteen-year-old son. She spends most of her time alone in the flat, busy with a myriad of household chores. Her routine also includes sleeping with a man every afternoon for money. On the third day, this monotony culminates in an emotional outburst.
