Jaws

The remains of a completely mangled corpse wash up on the beach of the small seaside resort of Amity. The new police chief Brody soon suspects a shark attack, but Mayor Vaughn wants no part of it and refuses to close the beaches - profit from the upcoming bathing season and tourism takes priority. Vaughn reacts far too late and hires shark catcher Quint, who sets off with Brody and marine biologist Matt Hooper to kill the beast...
