Israel: Ministers of Chaos
Israeli democracy is in crisis. An alliance of followers of Rabbi Kook and the heirs of the racist Meir Kahane is driving this development. Two central figures are Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who is responsible for settlement expansion. The documentary profiles the extremist politicians in Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and highlights the resistance of Israelis who fear for their democracy. The film was shot in the summer of 2023.
