Intercepted

In 2022, the Ukrainian secret service recorded numerous telephone conversations between Russian soldiers and their relatives. Oksana Karpovych superimposes some of these conversations as a soundtrack over everyday scenes from the country, which was scarred by the war of aggression. We see destruction and devastation, surrounded by people who want to go on living. To be heard: Confessions of war crimes, descriptions of their own psychological decline or explanations of the lies of the state media.
INTERCEPTED is an important political work of art and, it has to be said, one with very incriminating content.
