In Our Day

The film alternates between two conversations in Seoul: an actress is asked for help by a beginner; an old poet receives an admirer. The two stars dodge the existential questions of their dialogue partners, between food, alcohol, guitar, a game of rock-paper-scissors or siesta. One is thinking about giving up her job, the other is struggling with alcohol and tobacco withdrawal.

Our day is a haiku that invites us to search for what is important to us, namely the salt in the soup of our lives.
