In a Violent Nature

After someone removes a necklace from a fire station tower, something stirs in the damp undergrowth. A hulking figure digs itself out of the ground and stomps off. Everyone who encounters the wordless giant is massacred. IN A VIOLENT NATURE is an almost impressionistic evocation of the early slasher era, but at the same time a radical break within the genre, as almost the entire film is told from the killer's perspective. Canadian Chris Nash's daring experiment certainly pays off: rarely has a slasher felt so fresh. (slashfilmfestival)
