Immaculate

Pious novice Cecilia (Sydney Sweeney) leaves her home in the USA to join a remote convent in the middle of the picturesque Italian countryside. But the warm welcome she receives from the nuns and Father Tedeschi (Álvaro Morte) is deceptive: her stay soon turns into a nightmare when she realizes that the place harbours a dark secret and unspeakable horrors.

Leading actress Sydney Sweeney ("Where the Lie Falls"), who also acts as producer, makes her horror film debut under the direction of Michael Mohan ("The Voyeurs"). Her cast includes Álvaro Morte ("House of Money"), Dora Romano ("The Hand of God"), Simona Tabasco ("The White Lotus") and Benedetta Porcaroli ("Baby"). The screenplay was written by Andrew Lobel.
