Imagine…Wayne McGregor: Dancing on the Edge

Wayne McGregor is one of Britain’s most innovative choreographers. He is Resident Choreographer of The Royal Ballet in London, director of Studio Wayne McGregor, works internationally, and leads the Biennale Danza in Venice.

The film follows him during the Biennale and at rehearsals in London, tracing his journey from a disco-obsessed childhood in the 1970s to becoming one of the leading figures in contemporary dance. His choreography Yugen is part of the Vienna State Ballet’s triple bill Visionary Dances.
