Trojan (Mišel Matičević), a loner who has just been released from prison, immediately starts planning his next heist. While he is preparing to rob a cash transport vehicle with an old friend, a former accomplice sends two killers after him. The taciturn professional also has to fend off a corrupt plainclothes police officer (Uwe Bohm). A thrilling crime film, a neo-noir – Arslan makes veritable genre cinema for the first time here. He focuses specifically on the everyday life of the gangsters, their craft, the gestures of their work, without burdening the characters with personal stories. In Trojan's movements through the city, he also paints a picture of Berlin: neon signs on Friedrichstraße, the Excelsior House, Kottbusser Tor, Olivaer Platz, the main railway station, car parks, depots and hotel rooms.
