Is Ulrich Seidl in a sense a disciple of Sigmund Freud? At least that's the impression he gives here, his film looks unerringly into the cellars of Mr. and Mrs. Austrian - and thus beneath the surface. There they pursue their real needs, their hobbies, passions and obsessions.
