Il vento soffia dove vuole

A small village in the Apennines. The taciturn Marco spends his uneventful everyday life between regular church visits, monotonous work on his father's farm and chaste meetings with his girlfriend. A few years ago, he dropped out of a seminary. One day he meets Lazzaro, who works on a neighbouring farm. From then on, he dedicates himself to bringing the unbaptised man closer to his understanding of religion. However, this leads Marco down a path that takes him further and further away from conventional Catholic teaching. In the end, he makes a decision that nobody expected.
