Il Cerchio

Who are the children of today? What do they understand about the adult world? To answer these questions, director Sophie Chiarello looks through the eyes of first-graders in a diverse neighbourhood. She accompanied the pupils with her camera for five years. IL CERCHIO is not a documentary film about children, but with children, a documentary film that tells about them, but also about the adults. It is a portrait of the world of today that reflects the world of tomorrow. The film won the Euregio Young Jury Award at the Bolzano Film Festival Bolzano 2023.
