Idiocracy

Joe Bowers is the quintessential average person. He works as a librarian in the US Army and otherwise leads an unexciting life. He is chosen to take part in a top-secret Pentagon project. He is to spend a year in a cryogenic chamber and then be thawed out again. But the experiment is cancelled and the frozen man is forgotten.

Hundreds of years later, he awakens from his deep sleep by chance. Society has now been completely dumbed down and the former wrestler and porn star Camacho is President of the United States. Joe is suddenly one of the smartest people in the world and from then on tries to improve existing conditions and solve the food problem.
