Ich oder Du
‘Too little to live, too much to die’ - the prospects for Franzl, son and heir-to-be of a Styrian farm, are not rosy. Better to run away to the big city. There he meets Robert, a talented but self-destructive wannabe rock star, in a disco, and Christina, his girlfriend from Germany, who is also drifting through life more badly than well. She and Franzl could become something, but at the same time she also feels responsible to Robert. Things get dangerously chaotic when she is suddenly pregnant and Robert wants to solve his problems with a gun ... While Vienna shows its most mangy side, Hansi Lang plays life: ecstatically honest and uncompromisingly broken. (Florian Widegger)
