Inga is a dairy farmer in a cooperative in a remote Icelandic farming community. After her husband died and left her with large debts, she decides to fight against the corruption in the cooperative.

She tries to encourage the other farmers to join her, but is met with resistance. With her creativity and determination, Inga does everything she can to regain her freedom and independence and create a better life for herself and her family. A moving film about courage, determination and the fight for justice.
