Ida lives on a sailing ship with her crew of five. When she meets the French Foreign Legion in Marseille, she comes face to face with a closed world of men and decides to follow in their footsteps across the Mediterranean. On her way via Corsica to Algeria, boundaries and certainties become blurred, while life at sea brings about a special mutual understanding.
