She has only two passions — and one of them is justice!
The suspicious death of a young girl from Bakersfield catches the attention of small-town private detective Honey O’Donahue (Margaret Qualley). Her investigation leads her to a series of strange fatalities connected to a mysterious church.
The lead roles in the neo-noir comedy HONEY DON’T!, directed by cult filmmaker Ethan Coen, are played by Golden Globe nominees Margaret Qualley and Aubrey Plaza, comedian Charlie Day, and action star Chris Evans as the shady cult leader Reverend Drew Devlin.
With HONEY DON’T!, Coen continues his queer B-movie trilogy, which began with Drive-Away Dolls. As with the previous film, the screenplay was written by Coen and his wife Tricia Cooke, who also produced the film. Producers also include Robert Graf and the successful duo Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner.
HONEY DON’T! celebrated its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival as part of the Midnight Screenings section.
