Holding Liat
Liat Beinin Atzili was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023. The family of this staunch peace activist is relentlessly campaigning for her release, while grappling with their own conflicting perspectives on the catastrophe in Israel and Palestine. Her father, Yehuda Beinin—a staunch left-wing kibbutznik and opponent of Netanyahu—in particular, repeatedly finds himself pushed to his limits.
