Photographer Andy senses his big chance: he is to take secret photos of bitchy star model Hanna Peters in order to get a lucrative contract with an agency. The only problem is that the model disappears in the direction of Lake Wörthersee - where he meets her twin sister Renate ... Even though filming took place at Lake Wörthersee in the early 1960s, HELP, I LOVE TWINS is regarded as the big starting signal for a whole series of comedies that were made there over the coming decades and formulated the recipe for success of the ‘typical’ Lisa films for the first time. It is also the directorial debut of castle actor and audience favourite Peter Weck.
