Tells the story of a single room in which time itself seems to live. Richard (Tom Hanks) enters this room and his story merges with that of the place. His life, his joys and losses, his dreams and his fears - everything is captured here. When Richard meets Margaret (Robin Wright), who has also left her mark on this room, a special connection begins between the two of them that transcends the boundaries of time and space. They share memories that are not only their own, but also those of the people who inhabit the space before and after them. Al (Paul Bettany), another resident, also leaves an indelible mark, bringing a new perspective on the place and the stories trapped within. As time passes, their stories become more and more intertwined, revealing secrets that have remained hidden for centuries. Who were the people who entered this room before?
