Help!
The Fab Four from Liverpool conquer the cinema screens for the second time - and the Austrian ski slopes, where they seek refuge from a cult and a mad scientist. The latter are on the hunt for a mysterious ring on Ringo's finger that promises nothing less than world domination ... The wacky premise provides a pretext for a whole host of bizarre gags and musical numbers from the current album that gives the film its title, refining the formula familiar from its predecessor A HARD DAY'S NIGHT. Filming also took place in Obertauern - the WOCHENSCHAU reports on the Beatles' arrival at Salzburg airport at the start of the film: Frenetic cheering meets local hospitality (‘Beatles go home!’). As the off-screen commentary aptly summarises: ‘Hetz remains Hetz!’ (Florian Widegger)
