At some point in the future, light and darkness will share life for humans. Like modern vampires, they step out under the cover of night while retreating into their homes during the day to escape the strong rays of the sun. And watching over all this is the powerful Luna corporation, which tries to control the masses with its virtual images from the past. But not everyone wants to submit to these illusion machines ... To say that Flicker's first feature film is bursting with attention to detail and - especially in retrospect - almost visionary ideas would be a gross understatement: produced with minimal financial resources but with the greatest possible creative energy, HALBE WELT is so full of fresh ideas that it would have been enough for ten films.
