Fixer Eddie Mannix holds the system together, driven by an almost religious devotion. Beneath the satire lies a quiet longing and declaration of love for an industry that the Coens never experienced, but often dreamed of. A nostalgic look at a world that stages itself and seems almost believable in the process.
