Florian Flicker relocates Karl Schönherr's Weibsteufel constellation to the wild and idyllic floodplain landscape of the March in the Lower Austrian-Slovakian border region. Two men, one woman. These are Hans and Jana. And this is the young soldier Ronnie. His job is to put a stop to the smuggler and trafficker by making a pass at his wife. We are familiar with Schönherr's triangular drama and we suspect that it will not end well for one of the three characters. A chamber play in the open, wild countryside. (Christoph Fuchs)
