Gloria

Gloria Swenson (Gena Rowlands) may have put her past behind her, but the past may not be done with her just yet. When her friendly neighbors are murdered, they entrust her with the care of their young son Phil. The boy was not only given his father's patriarchal principles, telling him that he is now the man, as a parting message, but also the bookmaker's records, which could potentially jeopardize the New York Mafia.

Gloria now faces not only a parental responsibility she never wanted but also must flee from the organized crime she believed she had left behind years ago. For the mob that is after the child and the book consists of her former circle of friends.
