Gimme Danger

The story of Iggy Pop's Stooges: their rise, decline and later reunion are brought to life through archive footage, interviews and animations. Jarmusch shows the raw energy of their early performances, their self-destruction and, at the same time, their lasting impact on punk and subculture. Iggy appears as a charismatic narrator, ironic and reflective. The film is a tribute and an energetic reminder of a band that made music history.
