Ghost Trail (LES FANTÔMES)

In LES FANTÔMES, Hamid, a Syrian exile, resolutely follows the trail of his former tormentor in Strasbourg. As a member of a secret organisation that hunts war criminals, he lets his intuition guide him, even though he doesn't know the man's face. Drawn deeper and deeper into a maelstrom of obsession and doubt, Hamid becomes increasingly obsessed with the hunt. On his journey through the city and his dark memories, he reaches the limits of his own understanding of revenge. The film illuminates the complex themes of forgiveness and retribution in a striking way.
