Ghost Dog – The Way of the Samurai

Ghost Dog (Forest Whitaker) lives above the world, among pigeons so to speak, in a hut he has built on the roof of an abandoned building. He is a professional killer who can disappear in the dark of night and move through the city unnoticed. His guide is an old text from the Japanese warrior caste - "The Hagakure: The Way of the Samurai". In accordance with the samurai code, Ghost Dog has an unbreakable bond of loyalty with his master and employer, a mafioso who once saved his life. When the mafia makes a mistake, they believe they have to eliminate their contractor. However, Ghost Dog is not only a killer, but also a trained warrior - and the mafia is no match for him. Ultimately, however, Ghost Dog maneuvers himself into a hopeless situation, as he cannot break the bond of loyalty that binds master and vassal.
