As the world comes to an end, young Furiosa is abducted from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a large biker horde led by the warlord Dementus. During their foray through the wasteland, they come across the Citadel, which is ruled by Immortan Joe. While the two tyrants fight for supremacy, Furiosa must overcome many trials and make plans to find her way home.
