Freeride Festival 2023: All in – Action, Weiblichkeit, Kunst, Leidenschaft

The freeride film festival under the motto "FOREVER RIDE" covers a wide spectrum: from relentless ski action and the female cycle to playful dystopia and wordless beauty, arctic adventures and a snowboard film about the magic of cornering.

In "THE BLONDES", three ski-mad friends from Canada and Norway want nothing more than to ski. "It's the boldest lines and the toughest freeride action ever seen by women in a film - both technically and in terms of the incredibly beautiful shots," explains Volker Hölzl, the second co-organiser of the FFF. In the sensitively staged production "CYCLES", too, only female freeriders are at work and have their say. In addition to the finest powder and freestyle shots, they talk openly and honestly about the transformative power of their menstrual cycle and how they deal with it when practising their sport.
