Frederick Ashton: Links in Chain

Followed by a discussion with participants of the 2026 ballet gala dedicated to Frederick Ashton

Created by dance filmmaker Lynne Wake, the film explores how Frederick Ashton’s work and artistic intentions are passed down from one generation to the next. It features contributors ranging from former stars of Sadler’s Wells Ballet and The Royal Ballet London to Marianela Nuñez, Vadim Muntagirov, Francesca Hayward, William Bracewell and others, as well as choreographers David Bintley and Wayne Eagling.
