Finding Nemo
A clownfish as a cuddly monster: a fearful anemonefish father has lost everything except his son Nemo. When he too is kidnapped by fishermen, he overcomes his fears and sets off into the sheer endless expanse of the ocean in search of him. Finding Nemo is a colourfully animated synthesis of Disney fairy tale, Hollywood drama, action film and Hitchcock thriller full of charm and humour. Unforgettable: Dory suffering from memory problems or the self-help group of sharks who want to give up their fish consumption. In the film, Nemo manages to escape from the aquarium with the help of his friends, but for the real clownfish, the success of the film became a curse: the conservation project ‘Saving Nemo’ reports that since then, more than one million anemonefish have been caught and sold in the global aquarium trade every year.
