Not everyone automatically jumps at the thought of spending a week in Paris with their classmates. Alex, for example, has a bad premonition shortly before departure. His panic attack saves his life and that of a few classmates at literally the last second when their plane actually explodes. However, the grim reaper is not so easily fooled ... James Wong & Glen Morgan earned their spurs as creatives on the X-Files, among other things - their cinema debut blows a breath of fresh air into the horror genre, which at the time was stuck between irony and parody. The original basic idea leads to cleverly staged, mischievously macabre kill compositions, without any masked killer.
