Filmtricks: Kurzfilmprogramm

Year2022

Duration90min.

It was discovered in the very early years of cinema: Film is not only suitable for capturing reality, but also for magic tricks. In early cinema, filmmakers developed the most creative methods for creating illusions. Things and people could appear in a matter of seconds and disappear again just as suddenly. They could change colour, change size, burst, freeze, and so on... These film tricks are still used today, and many people are still tinkering with them to create the most beautiful effects. In this programme, we will look at a few of these tricks and think together: How was this done? (Stefan Huber)
