Filmakademie Wien – Werkschau 2023
Film Academy Vienna's Werkschau presents its annual showcase from 21 to 24 November 2023 and once again provides insights into the current cinematic work of its students.
On the opening evening of the Werkschau on 21 November in the Gartenbaukino, the audience can look forward to an exclusive preview of three short feature films. Clara Stern presents her graduation film Im Spiel - the story of a brother and sister who try to deal with their difficult relationship and that of their family through role play. Josè Camargo's film Interchange also tells a story about two families in Toronto and Vienna who have to reorganise their relationship with their children due to severe strokes of fate. Niccey, the protagonist in Ani Novakovic's new film I/Me, in which the parents struggle with their child's new gender identity, undergoes a reorganisation of her identity.
