Filibus

A mysterious pirate of the skies steals from the rich and skilfully hides in her futuristic-looking zeppelin in the clouds above Sicily. Who is behind these technically sophisticated operations? On land, Filibus moves around unnoticed in high society, sometimes as Baroness Troixmond, sometimes as Count de la Brive. Soon, however, a detective is set on the thief and the cat-and-mouse game can begin. Valeria Creti plays a technically adept and shrewd pirate who not only jumps back and forth between air and land, but also between the sexes and is probably ‘one of the first lesbian characters in film history’ (Frauenfilmfest).
