Ella is no ordinary teenager: she spent her childhood in the Amazon jungle and her best friend is Hope - a black jaguar that she raised as an orphaned cub. But after the tragic death of Ella's mother, her father decided to turn his back on the Amazon and move to New York. Since then, Ella's biggest dream has been to return to the place where she grew up. When she learns that poachers are hunting rare animals in the Amazon and Hope is in danger, Ella can't take it any longer...
