Ein Oktopus hat den Mond zerstört

The integrative pre-vocational August Sander School in Berlin-Friedrichshain is like an oasis in the noise of the city.

Among other things, horticulture, agriculture and animal care are taught on the green grounds. Over the course of a school year, Heidrun Holzfeind follows a cohort of pupils with various learning difficulties and other disabilities at a respectful distance on their journey from education to work. She provides an insight into their tricky life circumstances and at the same time gives us room to admire the dedicated teachers in their exhausting everyday lives as they drive this bunch of teenagers forward.
