This ‘critical love letter’ to Austria gives a voice to various people who live here and play a key role in shaping this country - but who experience racism and discrimination as people of colour.
Framed by performative elements, the focus is on speaking and reporting on the realities of life. Some of the interviewees were born here, some immigrated, some see Austria as their home, others have made it their home, and for still others it will never really be. EDELWEISS is a clear filmic demand: it is finally time to listen properly!
