Ed Wood tells the story of the eccentric and passionate director Edward D. Wood Jr., who was notorious in the 1950s for his low-budget films – especially for their technical weaknesses and absurd scripts. Despite his lack of talent, Ed Wood remains optimistic and stubbornly pursues his dreams, supported by a motley crew of misfits, including ageing Dracula actor Bela Lugosi.
