DuEls is a dance film by Grammy Award-winning music video and film director Jonas Åkerlund. It is based on Nagelhus Schia Produc-tions' performance at the Vigeland Museum in Oslo, choreographed by Damien Jalet (choreographer of Madonna's Celebration Tour, among others) and the mercilessly powerful dancer Erna Ómarsdóttir. In a series of short, high-energy pieces through the various rooms of the museum, the dance releases the concentrated energy of the sculptures by Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigelands (1869-1943). Transient, living bodies in dialogue with the inner struggles of Vigeland's immortal works of art. (ImPulsTanz)
