Dieci Minuti (Zehn Minuten)
When her husband suddenly leaves her after almost twenty years of marriage, Bianca is blindsided: she had never noticed anything, neither her partner's dissatisfaction nor his relationship with another woman. Bianca plunges into a depression from which an unconventional psychologist tries to pull her out and suggests a task: Do something new for ten minutes every day, dare to do something she never thought she was capable of. After Bianca also loses her job, she decides to try the experiment: at a stranger's funeral, hitchhiking or having casual sex, even shoplifting. This sets things in motion...
An intense and touching psychological drama in big cinema pictures, brilliantly played by Barbara Ronchi as Bianca and Margherita Buy as the psychologist. The screenplay was written by Maria Sole Tognazzi together with her famous fellow director Francesca Archibugi.
