A king who has eleven sons and one daughter remarries, but does not realise that his second wife is a witch who is only interested in the power of the throne. She therefore turns his sons into swans. Only her sister has the power to release the brothers from this spell, which requires nettle shirts. Will she succeed? A rarely seen animated film based on a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
