Die Todesfaust des Cheng Li

In keeping with tradition, we open our Far Eastern film series with the man who made Hong Kong cinema famous in the West: Bruce Lee – in his first of only four completed feature films. Battle-hardened but unemployed, he ends up in Thailand, where he finds work in an ice factory in a small town. He soon becomes aware of the shady dealings his bosses are involved in – and he's not the only one. When two colleagues disappear without a trace, he starts investigating... When you experience for the first time the energy with which Lee explodes onto the screen like a berserker and dominates the action in a completely untameable way, you understand that this man can be nothing other than the icon he still is more than 50 years after his death.
