Die Spur

A retired bridge engineer regularly clashes with the men in a remote Polish village because of her love of animals. They are all fanatical hunters. When her beloved dogs disappear and several men die mysterious deaths, the fronts between the irreconcilable camps harden. At times satirical, at times feminist, but all in all an original mixture of home movie, village thriller, eco-thriller and contemporary social portrait, which also irritates with its eccentric main character.
