It's a peaceful day in Moominvalley. But then something unexpected happens: a volcano erupts and a tidal wave floods Trollland. At the last minute, the Moomin family manages to take refuge in a strange house that floats up by itself. It turns out that this is no ordinary house, but a theater stage, so the Moomin family begins to write a play.
