Die Kreuzung

The orderly life of Tadeusz, a retired chief physician, changes abruptly when he causes a traffic accident. A young man dies, and Tadeusz must face the consequences. Instead of enjoying a calm and carefully planned “golden autumn” of his life, he finds himself confronted with a situation that overwhelms both him and those closest to him.

A shadow falls over his marriage, his relationship with his son, and the upcoming wedding of his beloved granddaughter. The widow of the deceased also enters his life. Day by day, the atmosphere grows more tense, emotions take over, and the future no longer feels as certain as it once did.
