Georg Hauser's daily routine is strictly timed: from the alarm clock ringing in the morning to the TV sprinkling in the evening. In between, he watches over dozens of secretaries hammering away synchronously at their typewriters. At some point, this record starts to wear out. New glasses do the rest, and Hauser suddenly sees the world with different eyes. This slowly makes him doubt - and break out of this system in which everything seems to work so well ...
