Sigurd Hal and his performances have a special effect on Dina Elkström: she stubbornly pursues the actor. However, the star has fallen for his colleague Greta Gerson, who has retired to the country because she has had enough of city life. In order to win her affections, Hal pretends to be a nature-loving farmer from a moss farm. But Dina is hot on his heels ... Carmen Cartellieri, one of the busiest actresses in Austrian film in the 1920s (and also a producer), plays her role as an impetuous fan with a penchant for eccentricity and skillfully adds comedic moments to this tale of mistaken identity - including a slapstick performance.
